The ancient Twin Cities of Ben-Kierre and Iza-Kierre in the land of Lexedore have always been at peace; symbolised by the great Tree of the Covenant in The Meadow, a garden of serenity in the desert.
When those who lead Ben-Kierre destroy the Tree in the name of their teachings and philosophies, a covenant that spans thousands of generations is broken; and war between the Twins begins.
Dernium, a powerful Kingdom in Lexedore, send aid to Iza-Kierre to help defend them against the armies of Ben-Kierre; while the peacekeepers of the land, the Outlanders, are led by Tarkanyon on a quest to help form peace and discover the true reasonings behind the war.
Many fear that the war could mean the return of the Hircoi, an ancient evil led by the Moncoin, whom Lexedore battled against in the Greatest Of Wars.
It could also mean the return of the Wealth, which is believed will empower the nations to bring the Moncoin to his final destruction.
